Say no to suicide!

THE DARK DECISION

“Dear mom, I love you with all my heart. I just wasn’t mean for this world. I hope I can find a place of peace and happiness, a place I am child enough to live, yet man enough to survive. I love you! I’m badly hurt inside! I want it all to go away.im not afraid to die mom. I’m just so afraid of tomorrow! I must end it. No hope left. I’ll b in peace.im going to put myself to sleep now for a bit longer than usual. I’m tired, can fight no longer. I’m breaking into pieces, my head is bursting, I can take this no more mom. I’m sorry. I love you but I need to leave this world right now...”

●Yeah, it is a suicide note, broken heart’s last words to his mom. All credits goes to the most dangerous disease on earth, DEPRESSION.

●This could have been stopped. Wake up before it completely eats away the victim. Around 350 million people across the world are prone to depression. it is such a cruel punishment. There are no fevers, no rashes, no blood test to send people scurrying in concern. Just the slow erosion of self, as insidious as cancer. And like cancer, it is essentially a solitary experience, a room in hell with only your name on their door.

●They feel isolated, helpless, worthless, rejected, cry for no reason, sometimes lack emotions. Recognise in the warming stage itself. You can help! Be kind, compassionate, and helpful, understand and encourage. Ask “how can i help you?” most importantly be there, they need your support and love.

●It may be due to academic stress, social anxiety or peer pressure, love related issues, traumatic events, family struggles, low self esteem, feeling of helplessness, heredity or physical and emotionally neglected cases.

●Firstly, believe yourself.
●Don’t compare your chapter 1 to someone’s chapter 20.
●No one is perfect and imperfection isn’t a sin.
●Face it, don’t run away. A ship is safe in a harbour but then that’s not what ships are meant for. Stay strong. Go ahead.
●Don’t lose yourself trying to hold on to someone who does care about losing you.
●Unexpressed emotions will never die. They are buried alive and will come forth later in uglier ways. So speak out.
●When your past calls, don’t answer. It has nothing new to say.
●Come out of the box and think. The reality is, it’s never as bad as insanity you have created in your head.
●You are actually given this life because you are strong enough to live this.
●Remember, suicide is not an answer its destruction. You are stronger than you think. Bring out the real you. Nothing can destroy you, except you. Stay strong!Be positive
